This linen comforter is made of strong good quality linen. It is exactly as described. The workmanship and stitching is wonderful. I like how the material feels and smells. It has a texture that is gentle to the touch and has a light sweet smell that reminds me of fresh oats, which I like a lot. This is a thicker single layer linen comforter, similar to a cotton coverlet I purchased years ago. It is not heavy or weightless, but perfectly in the middle.
